We can record a pristine 16 channels of audio by plugging into an existing live sound system, setting up our own recording system, or a combination of the two. Even where there is no power, MainSpring Media can still preserve a record of your performance, with our 4 channel battery powered field-recording rig. We record to double speed audio tape using dbx noise reduction for maximum quality. Back in the studio, we "retouch" and mix it on a digital editing station.

One of the great things about any live recording done by MainSpring Media is that you can always come into the studio to record more tracks. Missing a part that couldn't be performed live? Want to add some extra backing vocals? No problem. Just come into the studio and record as many more parts as you like.
